Will ACTMOST mass produce the components which it designs and develops for companies in the framework of a support project?

Although ACTMOST has the capabilities of volume fabrication its goal is not to start mass production. It is however very important that ACTMOST investigates already at the design and development stage which mass-production techniques can be used and which are compatible with professional and commercial mass production facilities. ACTMOST will only demonstrate that the newly developed micro-optics components are compatible with mass fabrication technologies and will restrict the amount of fabricated components to pre-production quantities.
