“Optics.org” -one of the most influential websites for photonics breakthroughs in research and development- headlines the recent successes of ACTMOST and talks to Hugo Thienpont, co-ordinator of the initiative that supports European SMEs with photonics innovation, thanks to EU financial support.

ACTMOST is a project with a radical approach to providing photonics technology expertise to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe and is delivering positive results just one year into its term. It will ultimately prove influential in the forthcoming Horizon 2020 innovation program.
