Measurements & characterization
The Measurement and Characterization Unit: hosts Europe’s experts in micro-optical metrology and instrumentation, as well as a distinct collection of benchmarked commercial and proprietary micro-optics measurement instruments and the associated analysis software for the characterization of micro-optical and micro-opto-mechanical components and optical materials. This unit plays a key role in providing access to and hands-on training with optical and micro-optical measurement instrumentation and characterization equipment. In addition it provides measurement assistance and measurement services with dedicated top-level infrastructure.
